Does UNiDAYS check if you are a student? ›

UNiDAYS requires affiliation to an educational institution to verify academic status. If being a homeschool teacher or student means that you are not affiliated to an institution, UNiDAYS is unable to continue with the verification process.

Students who attend college or university that are given a personal institution email address or credit card style student ID issued directly by their institution qualify for a UNiDAYS account. Students must be over the age of 16 to qualify for a UNiDAYS account.

I am not a student but I work for an educational institution, can I have a UNiDAYS account? Members of staff are eligible for a UNiDAYS staff account which entitles the user to access the Apple Education store. You can sign up for a staff account by using this link.

Although UNiDAYS does verify your student status, it's not currently accepted everywhere as an official student ID — if you're unsure, check with the organisation you're visiting ahead of time.

You'll recognise that some of the discounts and offers available to graduates are the same as those that were available to you as a UNiDAYS student account holder. Whilst others have been tailored specifically for graduates. The discounts are controlled by our partners and can change at any time.
